This trestle table is located in the George Holmes Bixby Memorial Library in Francestown, NH. It is constructed from solid rock maple with a 1″ thick top. The trestle ends are held together by a wedge at each end of the stretcher. The top is secured to the base by a set of four hand-turned pegs. The color is achieved through the use of natural dyes and is finished with a modified tung oil. This creates a durable, water-resistant finish.
